I'm very sleepy. Had involved dreams, and then woke up to a dark morning. I'd gotten used to gauging my 'time to kick the metabolism into gear' by the sunlight coming through my bedroom mirror. Today it was all wrong, so I feel like I still should be asleep. Bah.

At work, of course. How's everyone's Monday shaping up?

Now that my project is doen I thought the 60-75 hour weeks were over, but now we are pitch hitting on a project that another vendor messed up on, so another long day.

money is good... money is good...

Money is very good. 60 hour weeks are less good, even when they involve money. Dare I hope that you'll get some opportunity to rest and recover soon?

That was this last weekend, and only today should be long, so hopefully the rest of the week will be 8 hour days and then another weekend off.

Pretty good! Our DST is still just under three weeks away (which causes all sorts of synchronization issues when we plan meetings with people in the US (DSTified) and Asia (typically do not have DST at all)).

I would really rather just get rid of it for good. I'm not sure that it serves any real purpose in modern times. But I'm also not one of those who haaaaaaates it; I just got caught by surprise. (In a world where my bedroom clock resets itself, and my computer clock resets itself, and my cell phone resets itself, it's hard to remember to think about those things.)

I'm not sure it served any real purpose in the past either. I suspect it is one of those things politicians liked because it is a very visible Look I Did Something-thing that everyone notices and with very low chance of anything ending up like a complete disaster.

Shaping down, actally! Workday was just fine, but it's even finer to be home, fed and reading the latest Dresden File to come out in paperback! (Small favour.) :D/
