Aiiiieeee.

Spent some time in BabyZone, today. Thus, still stuck in 'awwwww, so cute! I could totally handle one of those' instead of the more proper, 'aughnoget thee hence, rug monkey!' mode which is where I would prefer to be.

...but I taught her to shake her head on command! Babies are such goofballs when they laugh.

After work, it's time for RoundCon! There will be very little of me seen. Very little, indeed.

I've got about as many mommy instincts as a gooseberry. Sometimes I feel like a glorified babysitter.

I hate to say it, but I probably am. I like kids, a lot. My biggest problem with the little ones is that I am /terrified/ of breaking them. They're so tiny! I feel like I'm going to drop it or something.

Little ones are easier -- hungry? Sleepy? Bored? If nothing else, you can walk with them and sing and hold them and at least they're not fussing alone.
