One day, I have a feeling that my family will learn that I'm not a morning person, if only because I've finally snapped and beaten one of them with a plushie baseball bat. Why does /anyone/ think that someone wants to be berated with a thousand different complaints and chastisements as soon as they wake up?

No, I would not have enjoyed myself at the party for all your work friends. They're all in their fifties, and I have nothing in common with any of them. This does not mean that I don't think that they're nice people, but I still have no desire to spend several hours watching them talk to each other and awkwardly ask me questions. I could go to a nice bar and do that with people my own age, were I inclined.

No, I haven't heard back from the college yet. Because it's eight-thirty, I just got out of bed, and oh, it's /Sunday/. Did you expect them to send me an owl?

No, I don't want to go to the grocery store with you. I hate shopping. Especially with family, because you all ask my opinion, then criticize it and do exactly the opposite. And can't stick to the list to save your lives.

For the sake of all the gods that ever were, give me an hour to wake up. That's all I ask.
