Ho-hum.

It's...a day. Not particularly bad, not particularly good. I'm kinda bored, although significantly less so now than I was a couple of hours ago. I'm also mildly frustrated/irritated at myself for letting myself get dragged into an argument on the In Nomine Mailing List that I knew was going to end up like that before I even posted. Mea culpa. I'm walking away from it now, though. Really I am. :)

*sighs* Feel rather listless. Need distraction!

In the news...

"We have no doubt that Sen. Daschle and others in his party who oppose the president's policy of pre-emptive self-defense believe that their national security approach is in the best interests of the country," RNC spokeswoman Christine Iverson said. "But we also have no doubt that they are wrong about that, and we will continue to highlight this critical policy difference as well as others."

Pre-emptive self-defense. We now have a policy of pre-emptive self-defense, and no one's even bothering to disguise it any more.

Bloody hell.
