pyrephox: (Lilith and the Lightbringer)

I went out...not to game, but for Chinese and anime with a friend. We watched the first two episodes of Sorcerer Hunters, the first two episodes of Berserk, and the first episode of Gunslinger Girl. And I got to cuddle cats! They were remarkably friendly to me, tonight. I think it was the coat. I have the best coat in the world. It is das ubercoat, even if it is as ugly as sin.

On the way back, I picked up three roses, and have laid them at my family's places at the table. They'll see them in the morning, I hope. I believe I will now muck around a little bit on the internet, then curl up with a book and read until I go to sleep.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I like V-Day. I get a happy glow all day, and enjoy seeing/hearing couples do the couple thing. I gave myself a small box of chocolates, and then my father gave me a very big box of them. Meep! They're in a very pretty box, which will remain mostly closed for a while, yet, I think. Even I have have my limits for chocolatey goodness.

Had Wings gaming. Exposition scene, wherein people try to decide what they're going to tell, and what they're not going to tell. Missing a key character and short on action, I know, but necessary for the group to know what the heck they're doing. With any luck, will be back in the happy forward motion in the next session. In the meantime, will have to schedule solo scene with Theodore, since he skipped off of /gaming/ for something as trivial and unimportant as a Valentine's Day /date/. Wuss. (Yes, I'm joking!)

In other news, countdown to trip into the great unknown...well, as unknown as the beach gets. :p I'm excited and happy. It should be a lot of fun. I also have a new task to do for H^3, so I'll be working on that most of the week, in between some other stuff.

In closing, melons. I crave watermelon. With just the tiniest sprinkling of salt.

I suddenly have a wistful sort of yearning for a Silent Hill RPG of some sort. I think it'd make one hell of an interesting setting, for a small group...not a MUSH, though. But something like a OTT or collaborative fiction attempt might work well, though.

On the other hand, I'm not really up on Silent Hill mythology, and the common sense fairies are telling me that adding another project would be a bad idea.

Maybe I'm just RP-starved. :D
