A successful trip to the library yields much loot! The books I checked out are:
Three Centuries of American Poetry (Collection)
Obernewtyn (Isobelle Carmody)
Altered Carbon (Richard K. Morgan)
Ring (Koji Suzuki)
Cerulean Sins (Laurell K. Hamilton)
How the Left Can Win Arguments and Influence People: A Tactical Guide for the Pragmatic Progressive (John K. Wilson)
In addition, I found three books to buy at the Friends of the Library sale:
The Changeling War (Peter Garrison)
Second Nature (Alice Hoffman)
Storm Front: Book One of the Dresden Files (Jim Butcher)
So, I have books to read, and this makes life good. And I can probably have these finished up and take them back next Friday when I next have the car. When I return, I might pick up Permutation City, or try and get the Interlibrary Loan to send me one of the happy Louisville history books that they have at the main county library.
