Ithuriel's Spear

A six foot spear of what appears to be straightened ivory, tipped with sharpen crystal, this formidable weapon is also a celestial relic of frightening power. Created originally by one of Uriel's Seraphim just after the Fall, it was used extensively during the Purity Crusade, and lost to Heaven when Ithuriel himself died in a battle against one of the last dragons in the Marches. Since then, the Spear has popped up at various times to Seraphim in dire need of its power, but always seems to become lost again before they can return it to Heaven.

Ithuriel's Spear can /only/ be used to its full extent by Seraphim. To anyone else, it's just a rather odd weapon...for the stage, perhaps, since ivory and crystal isn't exactly battle-worthy. When one of the Most Holy takes it up, however, he will automatically sense that it is a relic of great power. It may be wielded in celestial combat as a Large Weapon (Spear) (Accuracy: +1 Power: +3). Any celestial or ethereal touched with the Spear, aside from the wielder, must make a Will roll minus the wielder's total Forces. If they fail the roll, the target is immediately ejected from its Vessel or host for minutes equal to the CD of the failed roll.

It is rumored that Ithuriel, himself, once used this weapon to expose one of the Lightbringer's Roles...

(Note: This is a plot-device artifact. It cannot be purchased, and GMs are not advised to allow PCs to keep it beyond the plot in which it is featured.)
