First class!
It wasn't bad. It turns out that I'm sharing the class with the mother of one of my best friends from high school, which was both surprising and very niftycool. She's freaking out a bit because there's a /lot/ of work to be done in three weeks, and she's got a full-time job as a teacher already. Bleh.
It is going to be a fairly hefty courseload, but not too bad. Tonight I've got some homework to do (two chapters of reading, a workbook assignment, and coming up with a discussion question to be posted on the class webboard), and tomorrow I have to jump on calling around and seeing if a local school counselor will accept me for a one-day shadowing/interview experience. The paper on /that/ is due in two weeks, along with a 7-15 page review of ten journal articles. So tomorrow will also be jumping on the articles and trying to read up on those.
It's good to have things to do!
