Almost a year after it was first given to me, I have finished 'A Hymn Before Battle'.

cpip, it's a lovely book. :) I enjoyed it enough to stay up tonight to read the three-quarters of the way through that I hadn't managed before. It's /very/ crunchy, and I'll freely admit that much of the tactical discussion went over my head (possibly because it took place after midnight, but I wouldn't bet on it). Despite that, I enjoyed it.

And it ended on a cliffhanger. Allow me to hate on you in the nicest possible way.
