That was delightful.
Got together with a friend from college, who is now teaching at my University. We talked and had much fun while watching a crime show. I introduced her to the delight that is Crazy Straws and Mountain Dew Pitch Black. She has some local friends she wants me to meet, so yay for expanding my circle of acquaintances who are fun. I'm a little wary of the professor friend, mostly because she seems to want to set me up with him, horror buff, cute geeky guy, and gamer that he is. But he sounds pretty nifty, despite that. :D
Also, another old friend contacted me, and has suggested gaming time! He and some buddies have set up a semi-regular Axis and Allies game night, and are looking for new players. Don't know the rules, but I can learn, I'm sure.
These are good things, and I am happy. But tired. I sleep now.
