Good News: I beat Baldur's Gate. Twice, actually, because...

Bad News: The Final Save refuses to update, so I can't go to the expansion pack. I just get the final battle over and over. And over. And Over. Have I mentioned that the final battle is evil hard and SUCKS?

Bleh. I'll have to just go on to BG2 without playing Tales of the Sword Coast, I guess.

Had happy happy gaming on Friday. The session went very well, although we're having the usual spotty attendence which can only be expected around the holidays. Next week is our last session before January.

And yes, another II was rolled. We got most of the way through the session unscathed, and then one player said, "Well, look at it this way. We've gone through nearly 24 hours of game time without any other evilness!" Sure enough, less than ten rolls later: 6 6 6. This one sent the poor Elohite into hallucinations in the psych ward of the hospital where the Mercurian is currently restrained and 'under observation' (he faked a fit in order to provide a distraction for the rest of the group). Yes, they could break him out, but the Mercurian doesn't want to frighten the hospital staff any more than necessary, since they've already stolen a comatose vessel and an infernal artifact from the premises. Since he's a Mercurian of Trade with an obscene Fast Talk skill? I doubt he'll have much trouble.

Oh, and the party spent most of the session scattered. This made baby GM Amber cry. But everyone seemed to have fun, despite the fact that I spent a lot of time doing one-on-one stuff.

And yeah, the poor Cherub of Judgment has a massive headache. But the Malakite got to get in a car chase with two demons (and smash them into demon-bits), the Mercurian got to be Dramatic, and the Elohite got to see rampaging bug things, so everyone got to have a bit of spotlight. Oh, and the Elohite of Creation (IST Lightning) got to get a Talking To by Dominic, because he came very near dissonance for trying to talk the Cherub out of reporting his little 'incident'. (Actually, he should have /gotten/ dissonant, really, but all of the players are new to the system, and since this is the first time he's gotten close, I just told him that he could feel himself getting very near, and explained why, OOC).

Oh, and the party agreed to meet Lucifer for dinner, but aren't sure that they really want to go, now. That's where we'll pick up next week. :D
