As I was stopping off at the counter of a convenience store, I noticed the Weekly World News, tabloid of the bizarre. They're offering $200 dollar cash prizes for spotting the false story in their current issue.
Their cover story is about a two-headed Bigfoot being shot by police. Yeah.
Also, went by the apartment, unpacked some. Even cutting down my books to a fraction, I still have Too Many! Over half of my RPG books are still in boxes, or still here at home. I did get about three boxes of books to fit in the bookcase, however. So yay, me. Got some of the kitchen stuff unpacked (Note to Self: Need tableware drawerthingy.) and the bed made, and the linen and bathroom stuff unpacked. There's really only about four or five more boxes to get out. I would have unpacked those, too, except that I've come to the realization that I'm not sure where to /put/ any of that stuff. It's mostly CDs and tapes and things, and I don't have any holders for them. And I'm determined not to go back to the old way which was 'heaps of random junk anywhere there is room'.
In other news, I /do/ have a lovely view. If I can remember to take the digital camera over there one day, I'll get pics of that and the Really Red Carpet, and stuff.
