(no subject)

The week ends.

I've done some more work on the story. I think this will be a short story, but I've been doing worldbuilding, and I like the way things are falling into place for a larger and more complex plot. It's not /this/ plot, but I like it well.

Other than that, I am sad. Part of it is the oppressive heat of my apartment at the moment. Heat makes me sleepy and unhappy. Most of it, though, is just hard to explain. Partly having nothing to do at work. I hate feeling useless. Partly anxiety over how I did on the testing paper and will do on the midterms looming. And there's other things that are needling me, over and over, and I can't do anything about them.

Ah, well. To do:

1. Do Techniques reading and exercise.
2. Make an appointment at the Health Center.
3. Try to get ahold of Nick, see if he still loves us.
4. Meet friend for lunch on Friday.
5. Look into cheap trips to the beach for a weekend during Spring Break.
6. Find someone to play Settlers of Catan online with.
