Bad, bad net night last night.
Got frustrated with it in short order, and went to read the Dragonlance book instead. But if anyone out there is wondering why I wasn't around or responding to anything, that'd be it. Work person was supposed to let me know if I have to do a presentation...so for, they haven't, but when I go in, I'll start working on one, anyway. I'm still not entirely sure what, exactly, needs to be presented, though. Density maps are not exactly difficult to interpret. The different colors mean different amounts of people. See Legend. The title tells you who those people actually are. See Title.
But I'll do my best to ensure that it's a non-snarky presentation. Probably Powerpoint. If it turns out that we don't have a projector available, I'll just print out copies.
In other news, my professor was Very Enthusiastic about my independent study idea, so I may actually get academic credit for designing an RPG. And writing a paper, of course. But we have to talk more about it...she's had a number of people ask her to mentor an IS for them for the upcoming semester, and doesn't want to do too many. So, over the weekend, I'll write out a plan that is as stress-free on her as possible. Although she /has/ talked about being willing to help me turn whatever paper I write into a form suitable for publication. She also made noises about dissertations. I cheerfully ignored those noises.
