I am, once again, contemplating diet. Or rather, not really /diet/ so much as changing my eating habits to incorporate more healthy stuff. I have a bad tendency to gravitate towards meat, cheese, and starch as a pretty much exclusive menu. Which is really odd, because I /like/ fruits. I like raw veggies. I love salads. I like baked and broiled fishies. But on my own, I just end up going for the high-fat, heavy food. And then I feel overfull and kind of icky later.
So, I'm going to start trying to keep track of what I'm eating, in a general fashion, and move it towards adding a bigger variety and healthier choices. What this means that my LJ might end up becoming filled with more entries about what I've eaten/will eat...it gives me a good way to look back over what I've been doing.
Today:
Salad with baked chicken breast (Lettuce, celery, carrots, cheddar and jack cheese, chicken breast, and one package of 1000 Island Dressing.) Sweet tea.
Tonight:
Beef Curry. (No choice on this one...our game host has offered to cook, and it'd be rude to turn it down. Also...he makes /really/ good curry.)
