Did not sleep well. Cried for no good reason, then had nightmares. Very sleepy. Hope no one has to ask me too many questions today at work, so that I can stay huddled in my corner with my transcription machine.

ETA: And the Terminex people came a day early. I can /tell/ this is going to be a great day.

ETAAgain: On the bright side, our new co-worker is possibly the most amusing person I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Wow. I was completely wrong.

While this does not qualify as being in Best Day Evah territory (there was no back massage, sex, or chocolate, after all), it certainly ended up being a very nice day. I had work which I found interesting, fufilling, and involved learning something new (and being given a new task), I discovered that I do /not/ have to do that presentation tomorrow morning...after having already written up a hand out so that I'm ahead of the game, I met a new person who is really very nifty and fun, and got all my work done despite having taken out time to chat and socialize. And, unusually, I did not get a too-little-sleep headache, which is often what happens.

And tonight, there is NCIS and House.

Well, /wow/.

NCIS and House were both very, very good. (Although, admittedly, NCIS got a little too Political and Relevant for my prime viewing pleasure, it was still handled well, I thought.)

In other news, several days ago, I had a nosebleed while I was sleeping. No big deal. Woke up because I was stuffy, discovered there was a bit of blood slipping out. Wiped my nose, went back to sleep. Tonight I was remaking my bed, however (yes, I'm lazy. Hush.), turned over one my pillows, and discovered that the nosebleed had been considerably more enthusiastic than I had thought, if the palm-sized blood stain on the pillowcase was anything to go by.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why you should not double-dose Sudafed 12 hour, no matter /how/ hard it is to sleep with a congested nose.
