Trailer for "The Dresden Files" up...

Sci Fi is making an original series from Jim Butcher's the Dresden Files, staring Harry Dresden, the only wizard in the phone book.

My impressions: The voice narration is a little dumb, and Harry is not nearly as nerdy as I always pictured him to be. But for the characters who have spoken dialogue (Murphey and her partner), the characterization appears to be good. Conclusion: still looking forward to it!

Monday Dinner!

Hmm.

I think that lobster will now officially go into the list of food that I would rather pay other people to prepare, rather than do it myself. It's a lot of work for a relatively small amount of gain, and a bit more hassle than I enjoy unless I'm getting ohmygod food out of it.

On the other hand, the broiled shrimp skewers that were basted with Ranch Dressing were /marvelous/. Very tasty, although one should not then attempt to dip one of the shrimp into butter. The tastes do not go well together.

So, yay shrip, eh lobster.
