Four kids, back to back, starting first thing in the morning. Two classroom observations, several long talks with my supervisor, lots of things to remember. Oh, and nightmares that wrecked my sleep last night. And now, I oughta shuffle off to my class and try and stay awake long enough to get through that. And then, may I collapse? No, for I must review my tape and write a critique for supervision tomorrow. And I still can't say with any confidence that I'm attempting to follow Adlerian theory.

I did get a couple of compliments, though, which made me feel good. My supervisor wants to steal me for elementary work.

But I am so very, very tired. (Enough that I've been going around quoting Sailor Nothing in my head all day. "Sailor Nothing says, 'I'm very tired'".)

Oh, and I MUST do laundry tonight. I was only saved by the requirement to wear slacks and not jeans today. MUST.

...the /best/ commercial I've seen in a while. It starts out like a typical car commercial, with a family frolicking and visiting various roadside attractions, laughing and all Hollywood-happy, with the car featuring prominantly in the shots, of course.

And then, at the end, the dad gets out of the car, hugs his kids, and says to the mom, "Thanks for inviting me," and she gives that little half-embarassed "Sure." And he tells the kids he'll see them next week.

That's really respectful of all the divorced families out there that aren't at each other's throats, and I'm really glad to see it.
