I have enough character sheets to start the game now. :D Well, probably not /right/ now, since it's right next to Christmas. But starting questions:
1. PbEM or PbGJ. If we play by GJ, I would run it like so; each 'scene' would be a seperate post, with the replies to the post threaded underneath. If we play by e-mail, I will create a mailing-list and we can all subscribe to it. The latter is my preference for the following reasons; the game would flow smoother, the 'immediate' presence of e-mail would make people more likely to respond in a timely manner, all players would have their own copy of the game events automatically as well as having it stored centrally in the list archives, and lurkers could subscribe to 'digest' versions and get a compacted version of the game. But I know several players have indicated a preference for the former, so I'm tossing it out on the floor.
2. Dice rolling. Two options: I can roll all dice, or we can roll dice individually. I would prefer the former, to keep things moving quickly, but I don't have a really stong preference either way.
3. Participation. My initial thought was a participation requirement of three times a week. Does that seem like something everyone can realistically keep up with, without becoming burned out? Do people want it higher? Lower? (I will not go lower than one response a week. That would be achingly slow, and almost not worth running.)
