I woke up today feeling like I'd been running a marathon or doing quadratic equations in my sleep. Possibly both. This feeling, followed and complimented by a marvelous headache, has been following me ALL DAY.
So, of course, today would have to be the day that I get two new referrals, run my group, and become the latest example in an interdepartmental school politic war. Okay, so it probably hasn't escalated to actual war, yet, but there are definite warning shots over the starboard bow, and if someone doesn't surrender soon, they're going to deploy the P-Bomb. (Principal, of course.)
It's just one of those days, y'know? Still, I managed to do reasonably well, and I noticed that the one time I felt energized and my headache went away was when I was talking with kids. So, y'know, I might like what I'm doing.
