I did not sleep well last night. It got warm around four am, so I spent an hour tossing and turning before finding just the right combination of sheets/blankets to make my temperature what I wanted. In addition, I was listening to World War Z last night, so what did I dream about? Yep, zombies. Running from zombies, hiding from zombies, getting torn apart by zombies. *yawn* Now I am sleeeeeepy.

How did y'all sleep?

I am behind with Southern Star stuff. I apologize to players whose scenes have not been finished (or started), but we're hitting registration time here at school, and between one thing and another, it's just been slipping my mind. I'll try to work something out. Harris-player and Marjorie-player, when are y'all free in the evenings? I can't do tonight.

I had not realized that Michelle Sagara and Michelle West were the same person, but now that I know, I can get it. The Chronicles of Elantra and the Sun Sword books both share fantastic world-building, and excellent character building. Elantra, honestly, avoids what eventually put the other series on 'pick up if I have a little extra money' rather than 'Buy. Now. BUY NOW' for me, because while the pace for the overreaching arc is slow, it's not glacial, and the interconnected plots are a bit simpler to follow. And now I see she has another trilogy, The Sundered. I must pick it up! She has a knack for writing books that manage to both sucker punch you in badwrong ways...and then make you glad she did.

And no, I /still/ can't read 'Hunter's Death' without whimpering. Why do you ask?
