Last night was a great session; /totally/ worth the lack in sleep. Good, good players, and happily (for the DM) paranoid about my intentions. :D I've been thinking more about the demonic one-shot. Originally, my idea had been to set it in Lovell, as well, so that if the various players of the angelic and demonic game wanted to do pickup RP on Sammy, they could without noticeable difficulty.

However, I've recently been having a hankering for futuristic games, so I'm wondering if I shouldn't lean that way, instead. Hmm! So, if you're interested in the demonic game, and have a preference one way or the other...let me know!

This is my reoccuring insanity: A Babylon 5 MU*.

But not set on B5. Set on Mars. The clock starts about a month or two before A Voice in the Wilderness, just long enough for things to get set and settled before the rebellion. The setting has everything a good MU* needs: political maneuvering, action, intrigue, and a relatively small, self-contained setting: it'd probably just encompass Mars Dome and Syria Planum (because a Psi Cop Research Facility/Black Ops Headquarters is just too good to pass up). PCs could be Earth reps, corp reps, Provisional Government members, security/Earthforce members, Free Mars, rogue telepaths (remember, the underground railroad goes straight through Mars), Psi Corp, aliens, and all the various civilian possibilities. Few 'feature characters' to get in the way of PCs taking central stage: we know how Mars eventually turns out, but not /who/ spearheaded the events planet-side, or /why/, or even how the details were hammered out. You could actually follow the Shadow War pretty well without stepping on any major toes, or having to railroad things all over the place, because while we know lots of important stuff took place on Mars, we never really see most of it.
