So, I play video games, and get this delightful exchange.
(To the idea of her and the main character in a relationship, a female character snaps): The very idea is absurd.
Main Character: ...now I'm mad.
Best Friend: Damn, that was cold.
Jade, Snarker Extraordinaire: Yes, it was. (He sounds /delighted/.)
Best Friend: Uh, you sound like you're having fun, Colonel.
Jade: More than you could ever imagine.
...I've /never/ had a Main Character get ripped apart by the NPCs as much as the poor bastard in Tales of the Abyss. Even after he stops really deserving it, they just don't let up. It's HILARIOUS.
