Had a wonderful time this weekend.
Saturday, I hooked up with a friend of mine, and we caught double movies at the theatre (Blindness and Quarantine: both excellent movies, although each in their own way. Quarantine is an unapologetic horror flick; think a CoC one-shot run by a sadistic GM. Blindness is an artistic character drama with a vaguely SFish premise. Blindess is less strong plot-wise, but it's not /trying/ to have a strong plot. It's all about character development, with a focus on the development of strength.) In between and after the movies, we played Rock Band.
...Rock Band is ridiculous amounts of fun.
Sunday, I slept in, then played games. I played some Witcher, which I am somewhat ambivalent on...I /like/ it, but some of the mechanics are sorta frustrating. However, if you like MMORPGs, but think that the average one has too many other people, and not enough character development, you'll love the Witcher. Also played Tales of Legendia; it's not as strong as Tales of the Abyss, but it's still a darned good game.
Topped off the Sunday by watching Speed Racer. And, yep, it's just as fun as I remember; it's a sheer joy to watch.
