Underwear under there?

Why the hell would anyone charge 90 dollars for a /bra/? How much fabric and thread is involved here? Women's clothes as a whole are overpriced, but underwear is really ridiculous. I mean, we're not even talking silk and handmade lace, here. Even if we were, I can get a shirt of the same material for probably ten dollars less!

What is /up/ with this?

"What is /up/ with this"

Breasts usualy :)

Seriously I think there would be a little more manfacturing costs in a bra than a shirt, but ultimately I think it boils down to the same thing as a lot of womans clothing. Women in general will pay these dumb prices :P

I vaguely wonder how much jock straps cost, since they perform the same basic function for male anatomy under high stresses as a bra does for femalke anatomy under ordinary/high stresses.

I'd say "Betcha they're cheaper" but then I just know someone would find an example of a $200 jock strap. ;)

$30 for the bra.
$50 for the custom hydrolics.
$10 for the microprocessor to automatically detect jiggle and inflate the hydrolics on command!

If you pay the extra $9.99 for the upgrade, you can get an automatically inflating bra that also scrolls words across the front like a light-up marquee!
