I have an inexplicable joy when shows reference things that make me think of friends.

NCIS tonight had one of the characters quoting from 'Court Jester', for amethystjade, (Part of the 'the vessel with the pestle' thing) and House played 'Hallelujia' in the background during the end...the Rufus Wainwright version, I believe.

It's a secret classic. It's amazing how many people have never heard of it. I didn't hear of it till college - my brother's then-mother-in-law mentioned it when I discussed my love for Danny Kaye (in White Christmas), and I had to go rent it!

Also, I hear NCIS is good even without fun references.
