I have an Idea.

I'm trying to decide if it would work best as one of those nifty MU* games, as a PBeM, or perhaps trying something like a game set up on an LJ. The latter two options have the pluses of not requiring all the players to be around at the same time (since that can be a bugger to organize), but on the other hand, I know nothing about using an LJ for gaming, and PBeMs have a frighteningly high mortality rate.

Hmmm.

I have by now been turned away from PBEMs, for the mortality rate. MU*-type or IRC setups, I've found, work the best... and organization doesn't have to be that hard. Worked very well for [livejournal.com profile] harukami for Judgement Bounce!, for instance.

Which was a once-off with all players on the same continent, unless I'm muchly mistaken. :) That makes things a little bit easier. (Yes, I know you have 4 hours timediff between the coasts.) MU*s are certainly the faster and more, uh, flexible environment, I belive. But I still sing the praise of the wiki if you want to avoid scheduling problems. :)

I have no wiki-experience, and am thusly the suspicious and insular, like small towns in Transylvania. Maybe the Wiki is secretly in the service of the masssster on the hill... *whispers, glares, slams shutters*
