Yay! I have my signed contract for an assistantship, and it is good. I'll start in mid-January, which should give me enough time to settle in to the new place. It's 20 hours a week, running into August, which should be just fine, and in return I get nearly 10k. So I'll actually be able to pay bills and all that.

Now I just have to pass my exams and there shall be happiness.
