Mostly finished moving. Ohsotired. And sore. But the stuff is in the apartment. Which is, by the way, a rather nice little apartment with a lovely view of the city. And /very red/ carpets. I mean, I could hold an orgy of bloodletting in there, and if I kept it off the walls, no one would notice. The carpets are also nice and rather comfy to sit on.

I'm still thinking over the couch thing. Actually, I'm thinking no. The elevator is kinda small, and I don't want to haul anything up those nine damned flights of stairs.

I'm going to go back tomorrow with my kitchen stuff, and start unpacking a bit. I have to drop off the check-in report, and some mail for the previous tenant at the office, anyway.

Oh, and there's an unofficial apartment cat. People keep feeding it. Probably because it is beautiful. Almost solid black, except for a white spot on its chest, and with long, silky fur and a poofy tail. Quite friendly, as well. Campus housing does not like the cat, nor the box someone put out for it to sleep in, nor the fact that people keep feeding it. But it is cuuuuuuute.

But actually, people probably would notice. Bloody carpet gets awfully sticky, and then once it dries it's all crunchy and meanwhile, you track blood all over campus when you leave the apartment 'cause it sticks to the soles of your shoes.

Just keep some clean shoes by the door, in a plastic bag! Put them on in kitchen, then hop out the door. :P But I imagine it's against the apartment rules. :P

The real problem comes from disguising the smell. Um, not like I know or anything. 0=)

You need an inflatable couch! Easy to carry! And so comfy. Just make sure you get a compressor with the right attachments.
