Wheeeeeee, Morrowind!

I like this game a lot. Sadly, the NPCs are rather dull, especially if you have BG2 or PS:T as points of comparison, but the world is wonderfully detailed and a lot of fun to explore. Especially once you figure out how to work the maps. The scary thing is that you can blunder merrily into situations that are WAY over your head (do not try and punch the pretty flying jellyfish things!), but you can also find things that are just...wow. Like an abandoned shipwreck, or an ebony mine, just waiting for you to wander in and kick ass.

And everything is so very pretty.

WoW NPCs have personality!

There are places to explore!

Personality, I'm saying! Personality!

WoW costs money every month! Morrowind has lots and lots of free mods to add on. :D

Yes, but WoW keeps adding things too... And you can chat with friends while you're playing!

(Granted, if one does not wish to chat with friends while playing, this is not a plus, as such.)

Not so much. Maybe if I got a headphone mic and one of those chat programs, but trying to type at other people while I'm playing something that requires action or reflexes really distracts me. :)
