Riiight.

So, apparently, there was an earthquake on half the building. I and my coworker didn't feel anything, but the people on the other side of the hall swear the building shook hard enough to make their chairs wobble.

It's bizarre.

Did the earth move for you too, baby?

[identity profile] pyrephox.livejournal.com 2005-04-07 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
No! And I'm disappointed. See my pout.

Mebbe there's construction/blasting down the street?

[identity profile] pyrephox.livejournal.com 2005-04-07 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
That's entirely possible, really. There's a couple of different construction projects going on.

[nods] We got that all the time where I grew up - if it was summer, you could expect regular blasting.

Maybe they were having a chilli cook-off down that end :)

OK, I started about three different comments before realizing I had nothing entertaining to say.

[Insert hilarious joke here.]

[Plug in suitable laughter?]

[Picture thankful grin.]
