Joy for slow work days. I finished my final transcription, and have been roped into trying to figure out if the Dell computer my office wants to buy has Firewire in it. None of the tech specs say anything about it, so I have called the sales rep, who was apparently busy. I am waiting a little while so that I can call again.

In the meantime, since the course evaluations seem to be running smoothly, I have been working on my big, final, comprehensive group proposal project. Whee, lots of pages long. Wheeeeeee, 13 to 15 pages. Mine is definitely going to be more on the short end of the scale. But I've got, um, five of eight sections done, so go me. I hope to have this knocked out by Friday, so that I can enjoy my weekend at RoundCon without incipent panic.

Also by Friday, I want to have my integrative project knocked out, so I MUST remember to go by the school store on my way home and get a poster board, scissors, and glue. If I can remember to get those, I could even finish that tonight, possibly. Or in the morning, since I sure as heck can't write a coherent sentence in the morning

Arnon is tucked away in a happy Tether to work off her dissonance, so RP will not be distracting me with its siren song. Joy and happiness for that, even if I will miss the RP. :P And I've got plenty of left over beef stew, so I can't excuse myself from work by claiming I have to cook wild and improbable things, either.

Once I get these two things done, there's really only the big psychopathology project that really worries me. Final client evaluation and final self-evaluation for techniques will be fairly simple. Final in apprasal lab will happen, like it or not, so no use in panicking over that.

Student jobs were designed to be pointless so you could do homework and get paid. Glad yours is finally living up to that. ;)

Hooray for getting work done, and have fun at the con!
