First supposition: They're all stuck in a Domain, and have become lost in the roles 'Drosslemeyer', the Domain Owner, has set up for them. Drosslemeyer is a powerful Sorcerer dreamshade who has gone completely off his rails, and enjoys telling his 'stories' with people way, way too much.

Ahiru/Tutu: Seven Force Ethereal. Strands of Love and Hope. Her true Image is that of a duck, but she has two alternate forms, Ahiru the girl, and 'Princess Tutu'. Created by Drosslemeyer to restore the Princes 'heart' (Celestial Forces). Dread: Confessing her love to the Prince.

Mytho/The Prince: An Ethereally-bound Remnant of a Seraph of the Sword, one of the Marches Guardians. Along with Fakir, chased the Raven into Drosslemeyer's Domain, and was trapped there after his battle with the Raven destroyed his last Celestial Force. Ahiru, as part of her being, can help him restore his Celestial Forces (but /only/ him).

Fakir/The Knight: Cherub of the Sword, carrying one level of Cowardly Discord, picked up in battles leading up to Mytho's 'death' at the hands of the Raven. Is the only person in the Domain other than the Raven who understands what's going on, but refuses to leave Mytho's side again, even for the few moments necessary to leave the Domain and invoke Laurence. Also hopes to have Mytho restored with the help of Princess Tutu so that he and Mytho can both escape.

Rue/Princess Claire: Seven Force Ethereal. Strands of Shadow and Envy. Her true Image is a young woman in a dress of black feathers, and dark red eyes. She has a more 'human' persona, Rue, that she uses in interaction with most other Domain members. Created by the Raven, with Drosslemeyer's help, to seek revenge and free her 'father'.

The Raven: Shedite of Nightmares, under the Demon of Shadow Shapes. Is currently imprisoned by Drosslemeyer's narrative power in a remote region of the Domain, but can Dream-shape shadow figments to help his 'daughter' in her tasks.

Pike: Five Force Figment. Does not possess the soul necessary to become a 'real' Ethereal yet, but is very loyal to Ahiru and Lille. Is also, frighteningly, more level-headed and rational than most of the others around her, despite her lack of Celestial Forces.

Lille: Extraordinarily /confused/ seven Force Impudite of Fate, who was sent to collect Drosslemeyer, and became trapped in his story. Has latched onto Pike and Ahiru, mostly the latter, and is the constant cheerleader of Ahiru's failures. Has, by now, forgotten that she's a demon, and only knows that she thinks Ahiru is at her utmost cutest when she's falling on her face. Which, with her instinctive Essence draining abilities, happens most often when Lille's around. Loves both Pike and Ahiru with a cheerful, selfish intensity.

Edel: Six Force Figment. Strand of Knowledge. Gains her first Celestial Force during the events, and is sacrificed by Drosslemeyer because of it.
