A thought.
Marc is always impeccably stylish on Earth. Even when he's fitting in with Mercurian ease with working folk, his clothes are pressed, new, and well-kept. What few people outside the service of Trade realize, however, is that most of his clothes lack labels. They are Heaven-make, usually made by Marc himself for the purposes of whatever role he's taking on on Earth. There are, however, exceptions. When Marc shows up for a meeting wearing clothes or accessories of corporeal make, it's a sign that the company or designer in question has scrupulously fair business practices, or is making notable gains in that direction that should be encouraged. Any business personally endorsed by Marc is likely to get a lot of favorable attention from Traders as word spreads, and then from other fashion-conscious angels. As far as Heaven has 'fads', they're started by the Archangel of Trade, because most other angels trust that Marc would never endorse businesses that serve Infernal interests. That's a rare safety in the modern world.
There is, of course, another instance in which Marc will mention a company by name or presence. Every Servitor knows to be on lookout for the glossy black shopping bags, from no known store, that Marc occassionally carries to meetings. The bags signify that the contents are from companies that are known Infernal outposts, or simply so corrupt that direct angelic influence is needed. Marc often doesn't even need to formally give an angel's next mission. A simple nod towards the bag and a, "I recieved this the other day, but I don't think it suits me. Would you like it?" tells the Servitor everything they need to know.
There have only been a few occassions where an angel of Trade happened to be wearing something from one of the blackbagged companies during the interview. Marc never says anything about this faux pas.
