The Servitors of Dreams tend to be private sorts, who respect personal space, which may be why more of Heaven doesn't know about the Sentinels. You can only find a Sentinel at one of the Dream parties, where words and images are swapped like party favors, and whimsy flows like wine.
Look for the angels who always have a space empty by their side, but don't /ask/. Instead, watch. Keep track, and you'll notice that they're always Dreamers from the Fall, or soon after. Visit the Library, and if it permits, you may notice that their names are always linked with certain other names, Angels of Dreams or Fear that were driven to Hell by Beleth, seperated from their working partners.
And then, when you understand, go back to the Marches and watch some more. Watch when word comes from the ever-shifting front lines, that some first Fallen has been soul-killed. Keep your eyes on the Sentinels, and see which one invites an angelic friend to finally, finally, stand in that place kept empty for so long.
If you have the very rare opportunity, watch for when one of those long lost makes its way back to the Tower, climbs, and is Redeemed. Its Sentinel will be waiting at the foot of the Tower. When the emptiness is filled with love once more, it seems as if anything is possible.
And then, if you get the opportunity...notice how Blandine always keeps a space open at her right side, even an empty seat there on the rare occassions she attends Council.
Who do you think was the first Sentinel?
