GARGH.

Just when I thought I was done with the random large expenditures of money, and could start building a cushion again.

Our tuition has gone up over four hundred dollars.

My rent has gone up over forty dollars.

ARGH. I need to look at a new place to live, I think. But I swear I don't want to move, and the proceedure for terminating a lease is pretty much a pain in the ass. But if I could get somewhere for a hundred dollars cheeper (which shouldn't be too hard), I might have more money. But I /liked/ being able to walk every where. Grumble. Don't wanna move.

Sigh.

Consider before moving: given the costs of gas, will you be saving much by moving?

That's what I'm having to think about, yeah. But 717 dollars a month is a bit steep for a one bedroom apartment, even if utilities and broadband are included. I have to think not just about right now, but what's going to happen during my internship, since I'll be working forty hours a week without pay, and unable to take my assistantship during that time period. That's going to be 717 x 4, with no income coming in except student loans.

Argh. I don't know. I just don't know.
