Life in OPE tends to go from having a long, involved set of tasks to do, to having almost nothing at all. It's kind of sad. I've only had a few little jobs all day. Alas, alack, and all of that. Still, I'm relatively cheerful. CoC was fun last night...the characters are terribly engaging and amusing, for all that it's a serious game. INSC seems to be bustling along, although with the predicted slowdown after the new and shiny.

I am reading "Haunted", by Kelley Armstrong, the newest in the Women of the Otherworld series. It's an interesting take on urban fantasy, although with a few points of disbelief suspension that go above and beyond the call of duty. The characters are entertaining, however, and the plots are fun. So I'm happy!

I didn't like Haunted nearly as much as Bitten or Stolen. And the two about Pagie weren't as good as the first to either. I just think Eleana (sp?) is a better character. I am looking forward to the next one though. More Eleana :)

See, I loved "Dime Store Magic" and "Industrial Magic". I like the Sorcerer/Witch dynamic a lot, and then the information about demons and angels. (Trsiel is /such/ a Mercurian of Judgment.)

Don't get me wrong, I now like Armstong better than Hamilton. And I do like Lucus. And yes, anything with Angels/Demons = <3 ((do you have any recs for books?))

But I like Bitten and Stolen.

Oh, and I'm still enjoying the game, btw!
