Gah, brain.
Fantasy RPG system based around alchemy. Seven races, one for each of the seven sacred metals, probably five stats (or four and a derived pool for the fifth), and magic based around alchemy. Potions, transmution rituals, chimerical creatures as servants, herbal magic, etc.

This is what I get for changing what I was writing mid post and not double checking.

Personally this is why I just have a 'general' forum and just stick new threads in there.
Eh, I'm not sure the experement is really working out too well anyway. Now that the ooh shiny has worn off the mechanics of phpBB are rubbing me the wrong way for this endevor. ~shrug~

What would be the stats?
What are you considering sacred metals?
Whold there be hybrid races?
Would there be elements as well as metals
( Possibly with classes based on those elements? )

The seven metals of alchemy are: Gold, Silver, Iron, Mercury, Tin, Copper, and Lead, in order from most noble to most base.
No hybrid races, except Chimerae, who are not properly a race at all. The Seven Races cannot interbreed, and humans cannot breed with them, either. Chimerae can't breed at all.
Elements will play some part, but probably not classes.
