(Doing this by RPG_Promo's standards)

Date Last Posted: First time post.
Format: GreatestJournal journal game
Genre: Steve Jackson Games' In Nomine RPG system.
Name: Southern Cross: In Nomine Columbia
Contact: Pyrephox@sc.rr.com
Website: Community page, check out the community memories for application, rules, and introduction.
Minimum Age Requirement: No minimum requirement. However, In Nomine occassionally deals with themes of violence, religion, and sex that may not be suitable for all players.
Deadline: Until positions available are filled.

Specific Requirements: We are especially looking for people willing to play war-faction angels, or human characters (Saints, Soldiers, Hellsworn Sorcerers, Undead). Players should have familiarity with and access to at least the Core Rules of the In Nomine system. A brief introduction to the game world can be found on the community info page, and I am willing to answer questions by e-mail. It is not required that you have access to an instant messenger; IM scenes are optional, and we have a method set up to enable RP without them. Players are required to read and follow the rules, available on the community memories. This is not a freeform game, dice will be used to settle disputes, and dice are most often rolled by the moderator.
Game Description: In Nomine is a modern fantasy RPG based on angelic and demonic myths. Its resemblance to actual religions is tenuous at best, and it is not meant to accurately reflect true world beliefs. It is just a game. Now that the disclaimer is out of the way...

Angels and demons are real, and they are among us. Fighting for human souls and the ultimate outcome of the world, they wear flesh and use methods both subtle and AUGH FINISH LATER.

And I was just returning to comment on that bit...

Either it's a very obvious joke, or we think very much alike. I'm not sure which frightens me less, but I'm guessing the former.

It was a build up screaming for a punchline. :)
And why does thinking like me frighten you?
I should think it would delight anyone. (evil cackle)

Personally I like AUGH FINISH LATER best myself. ;)
