Oh, boy. I had lots of fun. I walked around, I rode all sorts of rides...the Angel of Fair Rides serves Faith, by the way. Just /think/ about how much people are trusting in human ingenuity every time they step into one of those things. Sheesh. It's fun, though. There's this one ride...can't remember what the cheezy name is, but it's damn near a religious experience for me every time I ride it. The seats rotate in a circle, while the whole thing swings back and forth. Feverball! That's it. That's what they call it. Damn, that thing is just beautiful. I could ride it all day.

I also rode on a hanglider ride, and discovered that while I enjoyed it, my breasts did not. Ow. Saw the exhibits, ate fair food! A crappy sausage dog, some very, very good french fries, and a funnel cake, split with my father. Oh, I love funnel cakes.

Fairs are neat.

Oh, god, yes. I've been on two rides like that. One was called...hmm, Snake Eyes or something dice related. You sit in a cage, which trundles on a track shaped like an oblong O, while the track itself rotated. The blasted thing was like being caught in a washing machine, and not in a good way!

The other was the Kamikazi ride, which normally I like. Except that this one year, it had been raining, and the ride felt...shuddery and creaky and just /wrong/. I spent the entire few minutes of the ride utterly convinced that it was going to come apart.
