Well, now I know why I was feeling so listless and 'blah' yesterday. I appear to have picked up sickness, probably from the fair. My throat hurts, my nose is stuffed, and I have that all-over skin sensitivity that makes even the slightest touch hurt. And a headache.

There's no throat medicine in the house, either, and my grandfather's having a meeting with an insurance person in the kitchen, so I can't go in and fix myself some hot tea or cocoa. Thus, I whine.
