Okay. Have been made substitute team leader for two weeks. Am terrified for no good reason. Also, have a great deal to do, and not a lot of time to do it in. (Why do I keep nodding when people say, "Well, Amber can do that."?) Still have NO FREAKING IDEA what I'm going to do with GIS. Need to come up with something flashy, attractive, and cutting-edge...content not required. (Looks like I may be asked to fly up to D.C. and present it at some point, too.) And we can't even get the ACT database to work yet. (A program which everyone loathes, including the client, but which the client insists on using because it cost a lot of money.) Also may be the only team member around several days next week, as other students have mid-terms of doom.
MASSIVE WORK STRESS.
Deep breath. Leaving for Kentucky tomorrow. Haven't packed. Need to pack. Will be using a slightly updated version of last year's costume, because I couldn't find the props I wanted, even at a costume shop, and I am just too damned frustrated to worry about it any more. Worse comes to worst, I'll just wear the threatened collar and bunny ears. Cost me nearly 40 bucks to fill up my tank, which made me wince. Have not done near the amount of chores I need to do. There's some sort of mid-term online thingy I should get around to. Need to make a brochure for one class, and start scheduling an interview with a school counselor.
Also, need to devote large chunks of my schedule to driving around doing school observations for work. Assuming they ever send the list. Have three or four plots to gear up and finish for INSC. Which...while I /definitely/ wanted a plot-oriented game, I could possibly have planned it better not to have all of them happen AT THE SAME TIME. And that's not even counting the one that none of the PCs have shown even remote interest in, but that I still need to develop, in case they do. Need more players. At least two or three more, especially since one character will likely be retired or vastly reduced in power, soon.
Blah, I say. BLAH!

[peers at the INSC plots] Hmmm. The Fire Lilim thing just came up; I don't know exactly what you have planned for it, but you might be able to push anything major on that (Carcus/Javier vs the FireLilim in person, etc) back a week-ish, while you work on the Game interviews? No idea what the timetable is on Punk Idol and the MediaLilim, but the Terry thing is probably going to throw a wrench into the works anyway, so...
Also/alternately, on the Game plot: Terry's Very Unlikely to show up for an interview, Gideon just retired, several of the other local demons are NPCs, and fade and Zephplayer and I are unlikely to have problems making it easier on you if possible, especially what with the horde of plots hitting at once? [grins] I mean, it's still GAME in COLUMBIA ACK, but a non-insane mod is an important thing. [scritchies lots]
Good luck with everything! Especially the ton of RLness. [hugs]

I have no idea if I'm making another character after Terry vapes. He's the first IN character I ever made, and this really, really, really wasn't in my game plan for him at all. Like, ever. I picked him because he was always fun, and he's gotten a little bizarre and scary on me. If I do, it will definitely be an angel, not a demon.

Awwwwwwww! [meeps, nods] [sympathizes] I've had characters go insane on me before. Is weird, when it happens, but...yeah. [scritchies] Angels can be more reliable, at least? Um. Depending on the angel. [laughs]
I hope you do make a new character (unless you play redeemed!Terry?), if you still have time/interest? [grins] You do great stuff. And spawn plot! ^_^

That'd be great. :D I've got one newbie player already, and he seems to be working out okay.

You can have access to any and all of my costume implements here. I have all kinds of assorted costume-y bits, and no one's grading the quality of the 'stume.

Don't let game get annoying, that'd be bad cause you might have to stop then. And none of us want that.
