A part of me really hopes that this is just a really, really horrible translation of an excellent and enlightening book on treating depression. This is because I cling to my faith in humanity by my slowly tearing fingernails.

The reader reviews are amusing, however.

In other news, still no car. Maybe car tomorrow. I have a wedding that I'm supposed to attend in another part of the state on Saturday, the couple is registered on a webpage that I've lost the URL for (and I've been trying to contract the groom or our mutual friends for /weeks/ to get this), and I don't even know if I'll have a ride by Saturday. Not to mention that even if I got the car back tomorrow, I'd want a chance to drive it for a while and make /sure/ it's fixed before trundling off to godsknowwhere. Grrrr.

Oh, and I just drew a pic that I'm actually rather fond of, but have no scanner to show it to anyone who'd care. The world, she likes to taunt me. Perhaps if I fetch her a shrubbery, something will actually go right?

*sigh* Mope, mope, mope.

Thought of this as I was going to sleep around six this morning. Despite this, it actually seems to work, from what I can see.

Alternate Balseraph of Technology Attunement (Restricted)

A Balseraph of Technology can use his resonance on electronic devices...simply put, they can Lie to electronic security systems. On a successful resonance roll, a given security system believes that the input the Balseraph enters is the correct one, be it a passcode, keycard, retina scan, or what have you. The Balseraph has to be able to input something of the appropriate type, however...if a keycode, he needs to be able to reach the keypad and type, for fingerprint scan, a finger has to be able to reach the scanner, etc. The computer is fooled for minutes equal to the CD, times the amount of Essence spent while activating this attunement. The Essence is optional, and does not raise the TN. When the attunement wears off, alarm systems will work as normal, if they haven't been disabled some other way.
