Had very fun scenes on B&S. There was battle, comedy, romance, and pancakes! Always an excellent combination of events. And, according to the KC newspaper, there was also a parade. Which no-one knew about, alas. Might have made for some more fun RP. There are people I need to try and corner for a scene or two, though. I'll have to @mail them, I think.
In other news, I pre-ordered 'Wolves of the Calla', the next book in Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Mmmmmm, Dark Tower goodness. I adore that series, and recommend it highly.../if/ you aren't one of those people who just has no patience for King's writing style. This is the guy who's admitted he's stuck with 'diarrhea of the pen', after all. :P 'Wolves' is $35, which makes me wince, but...hardback!
Also, I discovered that I /do/ in fact have PaintShop Pro on this computer. It was just hiding from me. I find this out just in time for 'Marriage Protection Week' to end, and thus render my poor little icon useless. Ah, well. I made it anyway. Unfortunately, Geocities is a bastiche, so I can't link to it. Bah.
In ze real world, now my father's car is in the shop. He's using a loaner with dealer's tags, so my ability to leave the house is even more curtails. It makes me grumpy.
