Okay. Have been made substitute team leader for two weeks. Am terrified for no good reason. Also, have a great deal to do, and not a lot of time to do it in. (Why do I keep nodding when people say, "Well, Amber can do that."?) Still have NO FREAKING IDEA what I'm going to do with GIS. Need to come up with something flashy, attractive, and cutting-edge...content not required. (Looks like I may be asked to fly up to D.C. and present it at some point, too.) And we can't even get the ACT database to work yet. (A program which everyone loathes, including the client, but which the client insists on using because it cost a lot of money.) Also may be the only team member around several days next week, as other students have mid-terms of doom.

MASSIVE WORK STRESS.

Deep breath. Leaving for Kentucky tomorrow. Haven't packed. Need to pack. Will be using a slightly updated version of last year's costume, because I couldn't find the props I wanted, even at a costume shop, and I am just too damned frustrated to worry about it any more. Worse comes to worst, I'll just wear the threatened collar and bunny ears. Cost me nearly 40 bucks to fill up my tank, which made me wince. Have not done near the amount of chores I need to do. There's some sort of mid-term online thingy I should get around to. Need to make a brochure for one class, and start scheduling an interview with a school counselor.

Also, need to devote large chunks of my schedule to driving around doing school observations for work. Assuming they ever send the list. Have three or four plots to gear up and finish for INSC. Which...while I /definitely/ wanted a plot-oriented game, I could possibly have planned it better not to have all of them happen AT THE SAME TIME. And that's not even counting the one that none of the PCs have shown even remote interest in, but that I still need to develop, in case they do. Need more players. At least two or three more, especially since one character will likely be retired or vastly reduced in power, soon.

Blah, I say. BLAH!

If there is at least one person in your life whom you consider a close friend, and whom you would not have met without the internet, post this sentence in your journal.
