The Descent...

...is /intense/. Good, good movie, but very intense. There are not a lot of surprise plot twists, but then, there don't need to be. It works going straight-forward, and the caving shots are /gorgeous/ and scary all at the time. The characters are various degrees of well-realized, and it's very clear that although these are strong and capable women, they are not action heroes. There's one feat of caving towards the early middle of the movie that was both beautiful and horrible to watch.

Good movie.
