I have three players! I would like a couple more, but whether I get them or not, character generation is Sunday evening, on Sammy. I plan to be there starting around six thirty. It'd be nice to have everyone together, but if you're going to be a little late, don't worry.
We'll be using UA second edition rules, although I'm changing one default skill: ('Driving' becomes 'Piloting' and applies to all standard military vehicles, including those on the ship. Hermes itself cannot be Piloted without Kronos...the calculations required for the technology are too complicated and demanding to do manually, but a high Piloting skill would allow you to read the astrogation displays, and (assuming override of Kronos' semi-autonomous functions) command course changes and manuevers). Stats for average humans fall between 40 and 60; physical stats (Body and Speed) can be raised above 70 with the application of cybernetic implants and upgrades. Mental stats (Mind and Soul) cannot be raised above 70...implants which alter and improve the functioning of the brain /do/ exist, but military personnel are banned from getting them, and no one who has them is accepted into service. No stats may go below 30, as that would be the cutoff for acceptable military personnel.
