So, I'm playing the campaign, and really getting into it (the characters are actually very well done for the most part, although one is an utter prat who I don't really want in my party very much...and it's not the Evil character, either), when I notice that one of the characters is missing from my party.
Huh, I think. Maybe it's a plot thing, since I know one is coming up for her. So I grab the Paladin, get worried at (because the Evil character is making passes at me), and move on. Go through a world transition...er, hey. Wasn't there a paragon of good and law here just a second ago?
...and why do I still have that other character's familiar tagging along...why do I have TWO of those familiars? Realization dawns. DAMNIT! The familiars are eating my companions!
And yes, they are. Occassionally, when you have a familiar in the party, there's a bug that will kick a companion out of the party for the familiar and that companion just disappears and you can't access it at all, ever. This CAN break plot events. So, I had to replay three hours of game from my last save with non-eaten party members.
BLARK.
