You know what I enjoy? I enjoy turning off my alarm clock, and lying back on the bed, in that peculiar, pregnant stillness of just dawn or pre-dawn, snuggled up to my neck in soft blankets that are just the right warmth. That's a delightful thing, even if it's only for a minute or two.
