I got Persona 4 yesterday. Might seem a fairly odd choice for escapism, considering what's been going on in my high school this week, but it works for me.
First impressions: Very nice, but they've taken the gloves off in combat. The first 'real' boss just /crushed/ me, and they've stopped offering the opportunity to save directly before those big battles like Persona 3 had. The art and character designs are very good, and the music is...possibly not AS engaging as Persona 3, but still engaging. Also, be prepared to be patient: at 2:45 hours of play, I was just finishing up the last introductory cutscenes.
( Spoiler Spoiler Spoilers for the first few hours of play )
